This work was composed for a 2022 Berklee College of Music Composition department reading session by the Sound Icon ensemble. Aberrations is a sonic collage imitating pieces I was enamored with at the time, including Kaija Saariaho's Sept Pappions, Ravel's Trois poèmes de Mallarmé, Elliot Carter's Triple Duo, and Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time.
