Bokeh is a photography term for blurred, out of focus lights in an image. This piece uses orchestration, harmony, texture, and other musical elements to create the sense of forms of light moving in and out of focus. 

​

This piece was composed for the Berklee Symphonic Winds, Conductor Dominick Ferrara.

 

Bokeh was premiered by the Berklee Symphonic Winds, conducted by Sarah Parker, on May 9th, 2023 in the Berklee Performance Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
