score in red and black is a graphic score composed for the Composer's Ensemble at Berklee College of Music, directed by Dr. Nomi Epstein. score in red and black is a response to Earle Brown's graphic score Four Systems (1953) and a reflection on the inner criticisms and self-restraint that can inhibit artistry.
